Hackensack is the county seat, a busy downtown and home to one of the largest hospitals in the state, which makes it a town of teams: school teams, hospital departments, law offices, county workers and the small businesses up and down Main Street. We make shirts, hoodies, hats, banners and decals for all of them from our shop in Paramus, about 7 miles away.

You build your order in the online designer and see the price as you go. There is no minimum on printed shirts, and clothing is exempt from New Jersey sales tax.

Hackensack schools and student groups

The Hackensack Public Schools include Hackensack High School, Hackensack Middle School, and the Fairmount, Hillers, Jackson Avenue and Nellie K. Parker elementary schools. Hackensack High also serves students from Rochelle Park and South Hackensack through sending relationships, according to Wikipedia, so a club or team shirt there often goes home to three towns. Bergen County Academies, the county magnet high school, is on Hackensack Avenue too, and its clubs and robotics teams often need small runs of shirts. Since there is no minimum, an order of eight club shirts is fine.

Main Street and downtown businesses

Downtown Hackensack has changed a lot in recent years, with new apartments, restaurants and shops along Main Street, as the Downtown Hackensack organization highlights. New businesses need the basics: staff shirts, a banner for opening week, window hours and maybe a sandwich board insert. Restaurants and bars often add merch shirts to sell. For offices near the courthouse and the hospital, embroidered polos and quarter-zips with a small left-chest logo are the usual pick. Embroidered pieces start at 6 and take 10 to 15 business days.

Festivals and community events

Hackensack has a busy events calendar, including the Hackensack Street Festival on Main Street and Hackensacktoberfest. Vendors, volunteers and sponsors all need something: matching shirts so people can find the volunteers, a booth banner, and yard signs pointing the way. Getting your order from Paramus to Hackensack

Our pickup spot is roughly 7 miles from downtown Hackensack, typically a 15 to 25 minute drive depending on traffic on Route 4 and Route 17. Pickup is contactless at our front door, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Book a time when we tell you the order is ready. If you would rather not drive, shipping is a flat $9.99 for up to 12 pieces.

Starting prices

Per-piece prices for a colored shirt with one printed design on the front, before any extra print locations ($3.00 each). White shirts cost a little less. Clothing is exempt from New Jersey sales tax, and the designer shows your exact total as you go.
