Most people who find us by searching "custom shirts near me" are on a deadline. A game on Saturday, a party next weekend, a new hire starting Monday. We are a small, two-person shop in Paramus, close to most of central Bergen County, so here is a straight answer about how fast we can go, how far you will drive, and how to save the most days. Our rush order guide covers rush pricing in more depth; this one is about the local logistics.
How fast we can turn orders
| Product | Standard | Rush |
|---|---|---|
| Printed shirts, hoodies and apparel | 7 to 10 business days | 5 business days (+25%) |
| Embroidered polos and hats | 10 to 15 business days | Ask us first |
| Yard signs, banners and window graphics | 5 to 7 business days | 3 business days |
| Cut vinyl lettering and decals | 3 to 5 business days | Next business day |
The clock starts when the deposit is paid and the mockup is approved. That is the most important sentence in this post: a design that sits waiting for approval for three days is three days you do not get back.
To be clear about what we do not do: we are not a same-day or while-you-wait shop. If you need shirts tomorrow, we are not the right fit, and we would rather tell you now.
How far is our pickup door from your town?
Pickup is contactless at our front door in Paramus, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11 to 3. Approximate driving distances and typical times from each town's center:
| Town | Distance | Typical drive | Town page |

Times are typical and will be longer at rush hour or on a busy Saturday on Route 17 or Route 4. If you are in Paramus itself, see our Paramus page, and for anywhere else, the areas we serve page. Shipping is also an option: apparel ships for $9.99 for up to 12 pieces, but add transit days to any deadline.
A note on Sundays: we are closed, as is most retail in Paramus. Bergen County is the only county in New Jersey that still enforces Sunday closing laws for most retail, as Bergen County's shopping page explains. Plan pickup for Saturday if the event is Sunday.
A realistic fast timeline
Say it is Monday morning and your team needs shirts for a tournament the following Saturday, 12 days out.
- Monday: collect sizes in the team chat by the end of the day.
- Tuesday morning: build the shirt in the designer, choose rush, approve the mockup and pay the deposit.
- Five business days later (the following Tuesday): your order is ready.
- Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday: book a pickup slot and grab the box on the way to practice.
Rush costs 25% more. On 12 colored Gildan 5000 tees with a front print ($22.00 each as of November 2026), that is $264.00 standard or $330.00 with rush. Clothing is not taxed in New Jersey. If the date allows standard turnaround, you save the 25%.
Five ways to save days
- Order online instead of asking for a quote. The designer shows your price, lets you approve your own mockup and takes the deposit in one sitting.
- Have sizes before you start. Adding three shirts after approval can push the whole order.
- Use a clean, high-resolution file. A blurry screenshot means a back-and-forth. Our artwork guide explains what works.
- Pick common colors and blanks. Black, white, navy, gray and red on a Gildan 5000 or 18500 are the most likely to be in stock.
- Skip embroidery when you are short on time. A printed left-chest logo looks clean and is ready days sooner.
Need a sign or decal too?
Signs and vinyl are quicker than shirts. A yard sign or banner can be ready in 3 business days with rush in the sign designer, and cut vinyl lettering the next business day in the vinyl designer.
What we need from you to move fast
- Your logo or design file, ideally a PNG with a transparent background or a vector file.
- The garment, color and size breakdown.
- Your real deadline, including whether you need pickup or shipping.
- A phone number or email you check often, in case we have a question about the art.
When shipping makes more sense
If you live farther out in the county, or you simply cannot get to Paramus on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday between 11 and 3, shipping can save you a trip. Apparel ships for $9.99 for up to 12 pieces, $14.99 for up to 48 and $24.99 for larger orders. Signs and vinyl ship too. The tradeoff is time in transit, so on a tight deadline, pickup is usually faster. If you are deciding between the two, add a few business days for shipping to the production time and see which gets you there first.
If your group is spread around, one person can pick up and hand out, or we can ship the whole box to one address.
Start now
The fastest order is the one that starts today. Open the designer, or if the date is very tight, send us your deadline and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it. For ready-made local designs, the Crossroads shop is another option.
