Emerson's youth and adult recreation sports are overseen by a volunteer Recreation Commission, with basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, football and cheer, wrestling and track. Here is what team gear costs and when to order it.

Emerson's recreation sports

The Emerson Recreation Commission, made up of volunteers, oversees all youth and adult recreation sports in the borough: basketball, youth track and field, volleyball, baseball, soccer, softball, football and cheer, and wrestling. Emerson Basketball runs recreation and select basketball for pre-K through 8th grade, and held travel evaluations in October. Emerson Little League plays at Benkovic and Hillman fields.

Winter is basketball and wrestling

With travel basketball teams set in October, winter gear is the first thing to order:

  • Travel and select basketball. Shooting shirts or practice tees with names and numbers, in the Team 365 performance tee.
  • Wrestling. Warm-up tees or hoodies with the wrestler's name on the back.
  • Rec basketball. A shirt for every player with the team name and year.

Spring brings baseball, softball, track and volleyball, and fall is football, cheer and soccer. Check with your league before ordering anything worn in a game.

What the Team Pack costs

The Team Pack is your logo on the front and each player's name and number on the back, with free name and number setup, for 12 players or more. The price is per player:

Ordering from Emerson

Collect sizes, names and numbers with our printable size sheet, then start from the Team Pack and upload the roster. You approve a mockup before paying the deposit. Pickup is contactless in Paramus, about 6 miles away, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Book a pickup time or text (201) 948-4433 with questions.

Prices as of November 2026, from our online designers. Clothing is exempt from NJ sales tax; signs and vinyl are taxed at 6.625%.

Frequently asked questions

Do adult recreation teams qualify for the Team Pack?

Yes. Any team of 12 or more players can use it, with names and numbers included.

Is there a minimum for the Team Pack?

Yes, 12 players. Smaller teams can still order through the regular designer with no minimum piece count; orders under 6 pieces add a $12.00 small-batch fee.

Can the team coordinator get a free shirt?

The organizer perk (a free matching piece on group orders of 24 or more printed pieces) is for regular orders. The Team Pack is already discounted, so it cannot be combined with other perks or credits.
