Team Shirts for Westwood Teams

Westwood Recreation runs basketball, wrestling and field hockey itself, and partners with separate associations for soccer, football, baseball, softball and more. Here is what a team order costs and when to place it.

Westwood's leagues

According to the Westwood Recreation Department, the borough manages Westwood Recreation Basketball, a basketball travel league, Junior Cardinals Wrestling and Junior Cardinals Field Hockey. It also partners with Dragons Soccer, Westwood Youth Football and Cheerleading, cross country and track, the Westwood Baseball and Softball Associations, and Washington Township Falcons Lacrosse.

That gives Westwood two busy seasons for team gear:

  • Winter. Rec and travel basketball and Junior Cardinals wrestling. Basketball wants a performance tee with a number readable from the stands. Wrestling wants a warm-up tee or hoodie with the wrestler's name.
  • Spring. Baseball, softball, lacrosse and track. Baseball and softball often need sponsor shirts and coach shirts. Track teams like a light performance tee.

The Cardinals name runs through several programs, so a shared design for parents ("Westwood Cardinals" with the sport underneath) is an easy way to make one fan shirt work across teams. Check with your league before ordering anything worn in a game.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can one design cover several Westwood teams?

Yes. Keep the main design the same and change one line of text for each sport or team. Each version is set up in the designer, and ordering them together keeps the quantity price.

Is there a minimum for the Team Pack?

Yes, 12 players. Smaller teams can still order through the regular designer with no minimum piece count; orders under 6 pieces add a $12.00 small-batch fee.

Can the team coordinator get a free shirt?

The organizer perk (a free matching piece on group orders of 24 or more printed pieces) is for regular orders. The Team Pack is already discounted, so it cannot be combined with other perks or credits.
