Team Shirts for Ridgewood Clubs and Leagues

Ridgewood has a long list of volunteer-run sports groups, from baseball and softball to wrestling, lacrosse and swim. Here is what a team order costs, which shirt suits which sport, and when to order for winter and spring.

Ridgewood's sports groups

The village's Fields Committee page lists the groups that share Ridgewood's fields, including the RBSA for baseball and softball, the Ridgewood Junior Wrestling Association, the Ridgewood Lacrosse Association, the Ridgewood Soccer Association and the Maroons Soccer Club. The Ridgewood YMCA adds a basketball skills academy and the Breakers swim team.

Different sports want different shirts:

  • Wrestling. A heavy cotton warm-up tee or a hoodie for the bench, with the wrestler's name on the back. Winter season, so the December order-by date matters.
  • Lacrosse and soccer. A performance tee for practice, since it dries faster and holds up to a lot of washing. Many clubs have their own game kits, so practice shirts and parent shirts are where custom gear fits.
  • Baseball and softball. Spring is the big rush. Sponsor shirts, coach shirts and end-of-season shirts with the team name and year all come up.
  • Swim. Team hoodies and deck shirts for meets, often with the swimmer's name.

Check with your league or club before ordering anything worn in a game, since many have color and number rules.

What the Team Pack costs

The Team Pack is your logo on the front and each player's name and number on the back, with free name and number setup, for 12 players or more. The price is per player:

For bigger clubs, the Cap and Tee Pack 24 is 24 embroidered caps and 24 printed tees with the same logo, digitizing included, for $899.00. That works well for coaches and volunteers. Team hoodies run $34.00 each at 24 with a front print.

When to order

Winter covers wrestling, basketball and swim. Spring is baseball, softball and lacrosse, and those orders tend to arrive all at once in February, so plan ahead.

Ordering from Ridgewood

Collect sizes, names and numbers with our printable size sheet, then start from the Team Pack and upload the roster. You approve a mockup before paying the deposit. Pickup is contactless in Paramus, about 4 miles away, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Book a pickup time or text (201) 948-4433 with questions.

Frequently asked questions

Which shirt is better for practice, cotton or performance?

For running sports like lacrosse and soccer, the Team 365 performance tee dries faster and stays lighter. For wrestling warm-ups, fan shirts and anything worn casually, the heavy cotton Gildan 5000 costs less and feels softer over time.

Is there a minimum for the Team Pack?

Yes, 12 players. Smaller teams can still order through the regular designer with no minimum piece count; orders under 6 pieces add a $12.00 small-batch fee.

Can the team coordinator get a free shirt?

The organizer perk (a free matching piece on group orders of 24 or more printed pieces) is for regular orders. The Team Pack is already discounted, so it cannot be combined with other perks or credits.

Can each player's shirt have a different number?

Yes. That is what the Team Pack is for: send a roster with names, numbers and sizes and each shirt is printed to match.
