Team Shirts for Teaneck Leagues and Clubs

In Teaneck, youth sports are run by independent organizations rather than the township, so each league picks its own gear. Here is what a team order costs and when to place it.

How youth sports work in Teaneck

The township says plainly that all sports organizations in Teaneck are run independently of the Recreation Department, with their own registrations, schedules and fees (Township of Teaneck). The Teaneck Public Library keeps a list of local organizations and associations that is a good starting point for finding them.

For team gear, that independence means each league or club makes its own decisions, often a volunteer board member with a spreadsheet of sizes. A few things make that job easier:

  • Collect sizes once. Our printable size sheet has room for names and numbers, so the roster and the order are the same document.
  • Pick one shirt for the whole league and vary the color by team. One order keeps everyone on the larger-quantity price.
  • Think about sleeves and fit. Some teams want longer sleeves or a looser fit. Long-sleeve tees and hoodies are in the designer too, each with its own price.
  • Sponsor names on the back are common for youth leagues. Add the sponsor logos in the designer to see how they change the price before you order.

What the Team Pack costs

The Team Pack is your logo on the front and each player's name and number on the back, with free name and number setup, for 12 players or more. The price is per player:

Shirt12 to 23 players24 to 4748 or more
Gildan 5000 heavy cotton$24.00$22.00$20.00
Team 365 performance tee$28.00$26.00$23.50

League-wide orders of 48 or more get the lowest per-player price. Boards ordering for coaches and volunteers can use the Cap and Tee Pack 24, 24 caps and 24 tees for $899.00.

Order-by dates

Winter basketball and spring baseball and softball are the two busy windows. Board approvals can take a week or two, so build that into your timeline.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you print for school clubs and religious school teams?

Yes. Any group of 12 or more players can use the Team Pack. School and nonprofit orders pay no sales tax on clothing, since clothing is exempt in New Jersey.

Is there a minimum for the Team Pack?

Yes, 12 players. Smaller teams can still order through the regular designer with no minimum piece count; orders under 6 pieces add a $12.00 small-batch fee.

Can the team coordinator get a free shirt?

The organizer perk (a free matching piece on group orders of 24 or more printed pieces) is for regular orders. The Team Pack is already discounted, so it cannot be combined with other perks or credits.

Can one league order several team colors?

Yes. Each color is its own line in the order, and the per-player price is based on the whole Team Pack order.
