Truck door lettering for contractors
Company name, phone and your USDOT or MC number, cut in one color for a white truck. Prices are per door at the size shown, before tax ($15.00 order minimum); set how many to 2 for both doors and save 10%. The full kit prices both doors together. NJ law (N.J.S.A. 39:4-46) wants the owner name and town on commercial vehicles in letters not less than 3 in high. FMCSA (49 CFR 390.21) wants the USDOT number readable from 50 ft in daylight in a contrasting color; we recommend 2 in or larger.

How much does vinyl lettering cost?
Price is by size. A 24 x 6 in one-color decal is about $16.40, a 36 x 12 in truck door panel about $44.72, and our two-door truck lettering kit is $179.00. The price updates as you type.
Is it hard to put on?
No. Cut lettering comes pre-masked with a squeegee and a printed card of wet-apply steps, so you can slide it into place before it sticks. Car magnets need no tools; place them on a clean, flat steel panel. The full do-it-yourself steps are online too.
How long does it last outside?
Cut vinyl is rated 6+ years outdoors, including car washes. Printed decals are laminated and rated 5+ years. Both can be removed later with a little heat.
What's the difference between cut and printed?
Cut vinyl is solid-color letters and shapes with no background, like paint. Printed decals can have any colors, photos or gradients and are cut around the outline.
Is there sales tax?
Yes. Decals and lettering are taxable in New Jersey at 6.625%. It's included in the total you see.
Do you do jersey names and numbers?
Yes. Pick Jersey name and number, type the name and number, and paste your team list. We cut heat transfer vinyl in-house and press it on the garments you drop off at the pickup window, or ship the transfers press-ready with iron instructions. $8.00 per name, $6.00 per number, $12.00 for both on one jersey, 10% off at 12 or more. We press onto shirts you supply; shirts with names printed are on the shirt builder.
